EduManch tells the whole story of Indian education — from the regulators who set the rules, to the institutions that deliver learning, to the students and parents who live with the outcomes. If you have a story, an insight, or an experience that helps readers understand any side of this picture, we want to hear from you.
We welcome educators, policy thinkers, journalists, researchers, students, parents, and institution leaders. You don't need a press card — you need something true and worth saying.
What We're Looking For
Strong contributions usually fall into one of our three pillars:
The Licensing Authority — analysis of education policy, regulation, accreditation, funding, and governance.
The Provider — perspectives from inside schools, colleges, universities, and the teaching profession; innovation, challenges, and accountability.
The Service Taker — the lived reality of students and parents: admissions, affordability, quality, safety, and opportunity.
We publish reporting, explainers, opinion, first-person experience, interviews, and data-led pieces.
Our Editorial Policy
By writing for EduManch, you agree to uphold the standards that define us:
- Balance over bias. EduManch takes no side in the regulator–provider–student triangle. Your piece may argue a point of view, but it must engage fairly with the other sides of the story.
- Evidence first. Claims must be supported. Cite sources, data, and named references wherever possible.
- Right of response. If your piece criticises a specific institution, official, or body, that party's perspective must be sought or fairly represented.
- Original work. Submissions must be your own, unpublished, and free of plagiarism.
- Disclosure. Declare any affiliation, employment, or interest connected to what you're writing about.
- Editorial control. EduManch reserves the right to edit for clarity, accuracy, length, and house style, and to decline any submission.
Do's
- Do focus on a clear, specific angle rather than a broad sweep.
- Do support every significant claim with evidence or a source.
- Do represent all relevant sides of the story fairly, even when you disagree with them.
- Do write for a mixed audience — a regulator, an educator, and a parent should all be able to follow you.
- Do disclose any personal or professional stake in the subject.
- Do keep the tone respectful, even when the subject is critical.
Don'ts
- Don't submit promotional or PR content disguised as journalism.
- Don't attack individuals; critique decisions, systems, and outcomes instead.
- Don't publish unverified allegations or rumour.
- Don't plagiarise, fabricate, or reuse material published elsewhere.
- Don't push a single party's interest while ignoring the others in the triangle.
- Don't use defamatory, discriminatory, or inflammatory language.
